![]() ![]() I usually play around that by having each mage focus different groups of enemies. One thing to watch out for with that duo, however, is that some of their terrain or status effects are anti-synergistic, like Rain putting out fire surfaces or removing Burning from enemies. Having points in every type of magic is also good because you can have all the good utility spells (Fortify, Armor of Frost, Teleportation, etc.). Both of those combos have good internal synergy (oil + fire, water + ice/electricity) and having multiple damage types helps circumvent enemies with specific damage resistances. It's not like DOS1 where if you Respec you have to relearn all your abilities each time you want to spec back. Plus you can respect at the mirror on the Lady Vengeance. I'm on my 10th full playthrough rn and just discovered something new. In all reality though, this game is worth multiple playthroughs. You can also make some awesome geo/poison mage combos.but again, you can run into the elemental resistance problem I mentioned above. That's why I almost exclusively do melee. ![]() If you go magic, it's kind of all over the place. You could also use a blood mage/summoner, since all that magic physical. I would do rogue/warrior, or a rogue or warrior paired with an Archer. I'm a big fan of grinding down physical armor first and stunlocking.
